Automation Tester

Responsibility

• Design and develop automated test suites

  Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks, such as Selenium and Java. Continuously enhance and update the test suites to ensure maximum test coverage.

• Collaborate with development team

  Work closely with software developers to understand the product requirements and identify test scenarios. Participate in design discussions to ensure testability and identify potential areas of improvement.

• Execute automated tests

  Run automated test scripts and analyze the results. Identify and report any defects or issues found during the testing process. Work with the development team to reproduce and resolve identified issues.

• Create test documentation

  Document test cases, test data, and test results. Create clear and concise reports for test executions. Maintain test artifacts and ensure their accuracy and completeness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

  Work closely with QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the overall quality of the software deliverables. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.

• 2+ years of experience in test automation

  Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks, such as Selenium and Java. Familiarity with Python is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential issues. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Agile mindset

  Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

Technical Skills

• Test Automation

  Strong understanding of test automation concepts, tools, and frameworks.

• Selenium

  Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid.

• Java

  Proficiency in Java programming language for test automation.

• Python

  Familiarity with Python programming language for test automation (optional).

• API Testing

  Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Agile Methodology

  Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum.

• Test Case Design

  Ability to design and create effective and comprehensive test cases.
